Question / Problem
How do I name, enable, or disable individual circuits on my ETW or PE700 Series Timer in the Intermatic Connect app?
Common Application / Operating Conditions
Follow these steps to update circuit names or enable/disable specific circuits after initial setup. Clear naming helps identify loads, and disabling unused circuits keeps the interface organized.
Step-by-Step Resolution
Open the Intermatic Connect App
Open the Intermatic Connect app on your mobile device and log in to your account if prompted.
Select Your Timer
From the Home screen, tap the timer you want to edit to open its dashboard.
Open the Settings Menu
Tap Settings inside the timer dashboard. Confirm that the correct device is shown at the top of the screen.
Access the Outputs Screen
Tap Outputs to view the list of available circuits.
- Review which circuits are active, disabled, or combined.
Edit Circuit Names
Tap the name of any circuit you want to rename.
- Enter a clear, descriptive circuit name.
- Save the name to apply the change.
Enable or Disable Circuits
Use the toggle next to Enable to turn each circuit on or off as needed.
- Disabled circuits are removed from scheduling options and dashboard views.
Tips / Additional Notes
- Disabled circuits will not appear in scheduling options.
- Use descriptive circuit names to make future programming easier.
- Combined circuits created during setup appear as one output and cannot be separated without resetting the timer.
