How do I create an Intermatic Connect account to set up my Wi-Fi timer?
Answer
An Intermatic Connect account is required to activate, configure, and control ETW Series and PE Series Wi-Fi Timers through the Intermatic Connect app. The account allows cloud access, schedule management, and secure pairing with your device.
Step-by-Step Resolution
Download the Intermatic Connect App
Install the app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).
Open the App and Begin Registration
Select Create Account to start the setup process.
Enter Your Email and Create a Password
The password must include at least eight characters with uppercase and lowercase letters, a number, and a special symbol. Agree to the Terms of Service, then select Continue.
Check Your Email for a Verification Code
Locate the six-digit access code sent to your inbox.
Return to the App and Enter the Code
Enter or paste the six-digit code, then tap Create Account to complete your account activation.
Accept All App Permissions When Prompted
These permissions are required for proper pairing, Wi-Fi setup, and scheduling functions.
Tips / Additional Notes
- If you do not see the access code email, check your spam or junk folder.
- Your Intermatic Connect account can manage all compatible timers, including PE723P, PE733P, ETW2CP, and ETW3CP.
- All requested permissions must be accepted for the app to connect to your timer and support remote access, overrides, and scheduling.
- After your account is created, you can add and configure your timer for Wi-Fi and cloud control.
