Customers requesting a product replacement under Intermatic's standard warranty. Excludes Connected Equipment, pool and spa equipment (including heat pumps), surge protective devices, and any claim that includes labor or service coverage.

How do I submit a warranty claim for a replacement item?
What You Need
- An email address you can access.
- Your Intermatic product model number.
- Proof of purchase (receipt or invoice).
- Shipping address for the replacement.
- Photos of the problem and installation area (recommended).
Step-by-Step Resolution

Review the warranty
Go to the Warranty & Claims page to read Intermatic's Limited Warranty statement and coverage details.

Open the claim portal
On that page, click Visit the Warranty Site at the top or Intermatic Warranty Claim Site at the bottom to open the online claim form.

Create an account or sign in
Select Create an Account to register, or sign in if you already have one.
- If you are creating a new account, check your email for a confirmation message and follow the activation instructions (check your spam or junk folder if needed).

Start your claim
Select your product, choose a replacement reason, and enter the quantity.

Review your claim
Click Add Product to Claim, then select View Claim to confirm all details.

Describe the issue
In the notes field labeled If you'd like to include any notes for our Technical Support team, please enter them below, briefly describe what went wrong and when it started.

Upload proof of purchase and submit
Attach your proof of purchase to complete the replacement request.
- Click Upload Proof of Purchase.
- Select Choose File and upload your receipt (JPEG or PDF format).
- Click Upload File - you will automatically return to the claim screen.
- Click Submit Claim to finalize your replacement request.
OPTIONAL:
After submission, you may email additional photos, videos, or explanations. Use your claim number as the email subject line and send to homewarranty@intermatic.com.
Tips / Additional Notes
- Claims cannot be processed without a valid proof of purchase (JPEG or PDF format).
- Confirm that your shipping address and phone number are accurate before submitting your claim.
- Use the correct product model number for faster processing.
- This process does not apply to pool and spa equipment (including heat pumps), surge protective devices, or Connected Equipment claims.
- For pool equipment and heat pumps, email poolsupport@intermatic.com.
- For surge device claims, call 800-270-7227 and leave a detailed message.
- Do not use this process for any claim involving labor or service coverage.
