Select DT17 Heavy-Duty Digital Timers were recalled on February 5, 2009.

DT17 timers with date codes 40Z through 52Z or date codes ending in A, B or C are affected by the recall.

How to Identify an Affected DT17 Timer

To determine if your DT17 Timer is affected by the recall, look for the printed date code on the bottom of the device. 

Locate the date code on your DT17 and compare it with the affected date codes listed above. The following image shows the date code identification area.

DT17 Timers included in the recall will show a date code from 40Z to 52Z. Timers with date codes ending in A, B or C are also affected by the recall.
