What Happens if an EI-200 Series Countdown Timer Is Left in ON Mode?

Question / Problem

What happens if I turn the timer ON with the Power button and then leave the house?

What Happens in ON Mode

When you use the Power (ON/OFF) button to turn the timer ON, the connected load remains ON for up to 24 hours. After 24 hours, the timer turns the load OFF automatically.

This behavior is different from pressing a Program button, which turns the load ON for the selected preset countdown duration.

Tips / Additional Notes

  • A brightly lit LED next to the Power button indicates that the connected load is ON.
  • Press the Power button again to turn the load OFF before the 24 hour Auto-OFF period ends.
  • When the timer is OFF, the LED next to the Power button remains dimly lit.
