Applies To
AG3000 and PS3000 Surge Protective Devices (SPDs).
Question / Problem
The green LED indicator on my AG3000 or PS3000 has changed to red, or no light is on. What does this mean?
Answer
Intermatic updated the AG3000 and PS3000 to include a red LED indicator that turns on when the device needs to be serviced. If you see a red LED indicator, or no light at all, the SPD has diminished protection and needs to be replaced.
New AG3000 units include a green LED indicator that stays illuminated when the device is working properly.
Tips / Additional Notes
- On older units without the red LED, a green LED that is off indicates the SPD has diminished protection and needs to be replaced
